He is one of the founding Past Vice president of the Jamaica Culinary Federation .which is responsible for the nurturing, training and development of young Jamaican culinarians .

He has also entered several top culinary competitions on the island such as champion master griller for the island and seventy medals and 25 trophies. Chef Kevin is regarded as a master of his craft when he won the prestigious title of chef of the year for Jamaica two consecutive times 2009 and 2010, this was a memorable occasion for him to be awarded such high level of culinary award. Chef Broderick has been featured several times on the local television airways doing creative gourmet cuisines.
Kevin has represented his country doing many competitions at the taste of the Caribbean culinary competition held in Florida every year where he has won medals for ice carving competition and best seafood. chef Broderick was selected to journey to south Africa to celebrate Jamaica’s 50th independence anniversary, this was done by teaching Jamaican cuisine to the south African culinary academy he also was the cast of “big brother south Africa” reality show which was viewed by over 45million people. He has also done numerous wine dinners in New York and New Jersey.
