Hey (: I'm Natalie, I'm a professionally trained pastry chef who grew up learning to cook in a large Italian-American family. I love to teach people how to refresh and update classic recipes to keep life interesting!

Seeing someone smile from ear-to-ear after taking a bite of something you made is incredible. I realized I had the power to help people feel joy in my own two hands. If I wasn't cooking, I was watching food network, or researching new recipes. Cooking is what made me feel excited, curious, and captivated, especially baking. I decided to pursue my dream of attending the Culinary Institute of America to become a pastry chef. After school, I worked in various establishments such as a five star/five diamond hotel, head pastry chef to a top restaurant group, and running a mom and pop doughnut shop. These experiences have taught me priceless, extensive knowledge, and it would be a pleasure for me to be able to pass it on. Learn to love cooking with me!

These cookies are really a game changer. Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies. I'm using really good quality dark chocolate, and lots of it. The dark brown sugar is necessary to lend an intense butterscotch flavor, which is then rounded out with a sprinkle of flaky delicious salt. It is an elegant spin on a traditional classic that will leave people wanting more and more. I keep a batch of this cookie dough on hand at all times to make for unexpected guests, or baking a few just to cheer up someones day. These chewy, gooey bad boys are going to be in your recipe repertoire for years to come!

- 1/2 sheet pan scale parchment paper stand mixer-paddle attachment rubber spatula

Generally, if you can stream a video or movie on your laptop or computer, your Wifi should support one of our classes (and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us for help!)
